GreedyMe.com is a community site that allows its members to create wishlists and keep track of items that they want.
What can I do on GreedyMe.com?
Anyone can
  • Search for registered members
  • View any member's wishlists and items
  • Post public comments to any member's profile
  • Read other member's public comments
Registered Members can
  • Create their own wishlists and add items
  • Easily send their wishlists to friends and family
  • Send private messages to other members
  • Add other members to their Friends list
  • Add a bookmark to their browser to easily add items from other sites
Friends can
  • See their friends' email addresses
  • See what items have been bought for their friends
  • Mark items on their friends' lists that they've bought
  • Automatically be reminded before their friends' wishlists expire
What is a friend?
You can categorize certain members as your friends by clicking the "add this person to your friends list" link on their profile. Once they confirm the friendship, you can each perform the friends features listed above.
How do I register?
Go to our registration page, enter your name and email address, and choose a password.
Is my email address safe?
Yes. We won't distribute your email address to any third party, and only registered members who you have designated as your friends can see your email address.
How do I add an item that I want?
Once you've registered, create a wishlist for a certain event, such as Christmas or your birthday, then click the 'Add an item to this list' link to populate that wishlist with items that you want. Be sure to add our custom link to your browser bookmarks to easily add items from any site.
How do I find other members on the site?
To view all members, go to our complete member list. Or, you can go to our member search page and search for people you know by name, email address, or location.
What are item tags?
Tags are basic keywords associated with an item on our site. You may have tried tagging on other sites like Flickr.com. View our top tags now.
How do I import wishlists from Amazon.com?
Log in and go to your items page, and there will be a link at the top of the page that says "auto-import your Amazon.com wishlists". When you click that link, our system will attempt to determine if you have any Amazon.com wishlists associated with the email you've registered with us. You can also manually search for wishlists associated with another email address. Simply select the wishlists you want to copy and click "Submit". NOTE: if we find items that already appear in your GreedyMe.com lists, they will not be copied. This way, you can periodically copy your Amazon.com wishlists and we will only import the items you've added since the last copy without having to worry about an item being added twice.
